Find many ways to boost your PC's performance

Build Your Own Computer Now

Build computer? You want to build your own computer? This is great! It's fun and you will have 'gigabytes' of enjoyment while you build and use your own super box.

If I can build my own computer, so can you. I'll be your guide. Since the mid-90's I've built from the 486's to the Pentiums.  How would you like to pick my brain?

Build your own computer and surf the Internet at Internet speed. Make it the fastest, make it the best. It's all in your hands. There's a thrill - a special kind of thrill - when you push that power button, knowing that you made it all happen!

Consider the options

Before you build your own computer, you should carefully consider the options.

  • Is your build-computer zeal inspired by cost or by a special need? For example, can you find the items on your computer part list for less than the assembled unit?

  • Do you already have the operating system and other needed software? Or, have you already factored this into your total cost?

  • Some internet computer package deals (hardware and software) from your neighborhood store can be attractive and suitable for the average home or school needs. However, sometimes you just have to pay more for an upgrade in order to get the special performance you need.

  • Will you be needing technical support for your hardware or software, or are you planning on being your own support person. If you build your own computer just for the fun of it, or for academic interest, you should enjoy solving any technical support problems that you encounter.

  • Depending on your level of experience, your build-time will vary. Given the speed of components available now, I can assemble a unit, load the operating system, and have it running in less than 90 minutes.

  • How about a barebones computer system? You can buy a barebones system and then add the other components. Typically, a barebones system will not have a hard drive nor enough RAM for you to do much. You can buy the additional parts and install them - making a full system. You could get great value for your money too!

My experience with manufacturers' technical support is that I can usually figure out the problem before I can get through to them.

Further, if your PC is damaged, so may be the option of getting tech support via the Internet. It usually boils down to the long waiting on the phone.

Taste the satisfaction

The satisfaction you get when you build your own computer is tremendous. If you've never gone the build computer route to owning a PC before, you should try it.

If you have custom built your own super box before, you know how difficult it is to go and pick up a common pre-built unit in the store.

You'd rather supercharge your own design - something with lots of muscle and speed. Click here now to take a look at these great barebone kits.
