These Parental Control Options

These are a must if you have kid and teen web users at home or if you want to know what your spouse has been doing on the computer.

Are your kids being exposed to inappropriate online content? The FBI thinks so.

If you exercise strict parental control - I mean, as in monitoring their activities with the right tools - you might be very surprised at what you see!

The FBI claims that at least 25% of children in homes have already been exposed to inappropriate content.

Oh no, not my kid!

It might surprise you how many parents will react in disbelief if they hear that their kid is seeing pornographic content online.

What might even be more alarming is the fact that your kid could be the target of an online predator when he or she uses messaging software such as AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger, or any other internet chat program.

The problem is that, most times, neither you (parent) nor your child can "see" an online assailant. Or, in many cases, your youngster will misjudge the identity of the other person they are chatting with.

Know What Your Kids are Watching and Saying

Is someone dangerously watching your child's activities online?

Are you 100% sure that your child is not accessing inappropriate material online?

Do you see all the email messages your child is sending and receiving?

Not because they are in your house should you assume that they are totally safe. The Internet connects everyone to the person next door or across the other side of the globe.

What are your kids and teens watching? Who are they communicating with? Every parent should know this before it is too late!

As a parent, or an Internet computer user, there are three main questions you should make sure you have a definite answer to. What are these questions?

(a) Do I really know what my child does online? Am I sure he or she is really safe? Is he or she being exposed to inappropriate material, and can I find out for sure even if I have poor computer skills?

(b) Can I block all inappropriate material, such as inappropriate sexual content, even without my child knowing? How can I stealthily prevent any pornographic content from being displayed on my computer without my consent?

(c) Is there spyware on my computer that is tracking my computer use? Are my computer and/or online activities being secretly recorded and sent to someone else against my wishes? Am I a target of identity theft?

Parental Control - How to Know For Sure

It is true that there are many parents who feel that their knowledge of the computer is too limited.

Although your kid might know more about the computer than you do, you are still the "boss". There is help for you to take the control as you should.

I recommend three easy parental control options:

OPTION 1 - Here is the first one. The maker of PC Tattletale software already thought of parents and spouses who maybe deficient in computer skills.

If you install this software, it runs secretly on the computer. It can be set to record every message, every image, everything that comes in and leaves your computer.

You will know what websites your kids are visiting and who has been sending them emails. You can even know the contents of their messages...

And you can have all this sent to you secretly while you are at work - they won't have a clue. But you will have the assurance that they are safe.

OPTION 2 - In case you find that your kids are receiving or sending pornographic material across the Internet, this is what you do...

Get this piece of software called iProtectYou Pro. It is a very effective Internet filter software, and very highly rated too.

Some internet blocking programs cease to function after a while, but iProtectYou does not stop giving you the protection it promises. How?

The database is constantly updated for free. What's more, you can add your own restricted sites to the database too.

This program will magically block all inappropriate content from displaying on your computer.

OPTION 3 - This is important especially if you think your computer activities are being monitored.

Spyware is for real now. Just think of it...

If you can use your parental control to monitor your kids with software, don't you think they could monitor you too?

Or, it may be a spouse, or someone who means to be malicious. I don't mean the advertisers planting their adware on your machine...

I mean identity thieves, spammers, and hackers - they can easily track and steal your information without you knowing anything.

But you can take charge. Hire your own cop. Get more information about SpyCop - the most effective anti spyware software you will find.
